OVEC has an immediate opening for an Early Head Start Primary Caregiver at our Eminence Early Head Start classroom. Under the supervision of the Local Area Manager, the Primary Caregiver will manage the running of the classroom, conduct home visits/conferences, supervise children on the playground, prepare materials for learning activities, assist in providing safe/sanitary environments for children and work with parents in reference to planning for children’s needs. High school diploma or equivalent required. CDA credential for Infant and Toddler required. AA Degree in ECE preferred. Two years of experience in early childhood programs required with a focus on Infants and Toddlers preferred. Position closes July 11, 2011.
